Agilutions’ client wins AUDC award
Agilutions is proud to announce that our client, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), was crowned “Best Web Site Using netFORUM Enterprise CMS” at the 2008 Avectra Users and Developers Conference. Recognizing the greatest innovation and creativity in building Web site look and feel, navigation and content using only the netFORUM Enterprise CMS tool, the award comes as a result of hard work and a commitment to developing a seamless, user-centric Web site.
While the CMS development was conducted and developed by AAHA, the ecommerce functionality developed by Agilutions for AAHA is a vital part of their Web site experience. To create an ecommerce functionality that was usable and useful from a trade association perspective, Agilutions worked diligently to address both an internal login that would enable employees with privileges to act on behalf of the hospital and an external login that would allow users to easily apply for a membership and to pay fees in a secure online environment.
Since access to the Web site required an individual login for each user, Agilutions tailored the shopping cart to accommodate multiple usernames and passwords easily and effectively. With Agilutions’ expertise in software implementation, the Web site was constructed so each independent feature fit into a larger framework. Implementation also included imparting important information to AAHA that would prove invaluable down the road as their Web site expands and evolves.
