NACCHO success story
The Challenge
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is the national organization representing local health departments. NACCHO supports efforts that protect and improve the health of all people and all communities by promoting national policy, developing resources and programs, seeking health equity, and supporting effective local public health practice and systems. In order to effectively distribute grants to a variety of vital organizations, NACCHO sought an application system that would enable them to consolidate and expedite key processes.
The Solution
Agilutions knew a simple survey tool would not suffice, so they worked to devise a system that would comply with NACCHO’s particular requirements. Agilutions built a configurable management application, integrated into the netFORUM framework, that enables NACCHO to build and manage custom applications. This enables departments within the organization to set up applications internally without needing IT support. It also speeds up the application process so health organizations can receive grants in a more timely manner.
The Results
Developed to adapt to endless application requirements, Agilutions created a system that maximizes productivity and internal resources while reducing paperwork. Specifically, the Agilutions’ solution has enabled NACCHO to increase the application review period from three months to just one week. All in all, when the implementation was complete, NACCHO received a robust application tool that will save them time and resources so they can focus on other key tasks.
